DAY 1: Arrive at Srinagar (Height 1,585 m)

• Welcome to the magical Srinagar! Our representative will meet you at the airport to escort you to the houseboat. Check-in at the houseboat. Relax and refresh! Post this, walk out to take a look at the city. You can also walk on Boulevard Road offering views of Zabarwan Mountain Ranges. Now we will take you for a delightful Shikara Ride on Dal Lake (1-hour ride). After this, if time allows, go shopping in Srinagar and collect some amazing souvenirs like pashmina shawls, saffron, walnut wood items, embroidered sari, etc. As the day draws closer, come back to the houseboat and enjoy a great night on it.

DAY 2: Sightseeing in Srinagar (Height 1,585 m)

• Post breakfast, our representative will take you to explore some of the other famous attractions of Srinagar. The first on the list is the captivating Shalimar Bagh which was built by the Mughal emperor Jahangir in the year 1619. This garden’s architectural beauty, a variety of trees and flowers, fountains and relaxing environment will surely win your heart. Next, we will take you to the Chashme Shahi, another delightful garden boasting a beautiful terrace garden, pools of water, lovely walkways and an amazing variety of plants. In the evening, get back to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam (88.8 km; 2hrs and 18 mins; Pahalgam height: 2,740 m)

• Have your breakfast and then we will drive you to the enchanting Pahalgam. The journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam will greet you with saffron fields dotted with (in season) vibrant purple flowers offering fabulous sights! Our first destination will be the truly magical Betaab Valley which got its name from the superhit Bollywood movie ‘Betaab’ as it was shot in this valley. The lovely Lidder River passes through this valley of immense greenery and mountain beauty.

  The next Pahalgam attraction on our list is Chandanwari Valley (7 km) at an altitude of 2,895 m. It also serves as a base for the famous Hindu pilgrimage ‘Amarnath Yatra’. If you happen to come here in winter, enjoy sledding and treat your eyes to glaciers melting away into the Lidder River. After enjoying here, we drive to the enchanting Aru Valley located at an altitude of 2,414 m. It is a place to witness the magic of Nature encompassing snow-covered mountain peaks, bewildering meadows, lakes, and great opportunities for heli-skiing and skiing in winter. It is a starting point for trekking tours to Tarsar Lake and Kolahoi Glacier. In the evening, we will drive you to the hotel in Pahalgam. Check in, have dinner, and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

DAY 4: Pahalgam to Gulmarg (137.6 km, 3 hrs 40 mins)

• After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and head for the magnetic Gulmarg Valley. It is known for its Gondola Ride, the second-longest and highest cable ride in the world and fascinating skiing opportunities for both professional as well as amateur skiers. Adventure enthusiasts come here from across the globe to enjoy skiing in Gulmarg. The ride offers sheer adventure at a high altitude and breathtakingly beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. Later enjoy a good night’s sleep at the hotel in Gulmarg.

DAY 5: Departure from Gulmarg to Srinagar

• Here ends your Kashmir tour for 4 Nights 5 Days! Post breakfast, our representative will drive you to the Srinagar airport/railway station.
